You can't help but get excited walking up to this place. It's located in an old shopping strip called the Colonial Marketplace near the House of Blues Cleveland. It's really quite beautiful to walk in and find a little spot like PJ's. Very unexpected!
PJ's Luncheonette has been a local stomping ground for local business folks in the downtown Cleveland area for 30+ years. The owner told me though that business has been slipping with the wide lay offs that have hit this area hard. Still through all these hard times he's keeping it positive. This place was clean and the atmosphere was so friendly you couldn't help but smile. Coffee, toast, sausage, 2 eggs, and home fries. All this for just $4.50 plus tax. You really can't beat it. I do have to put in one note. Something I noticed about the way they prepare the sausage that gives it a nice crispy outside crunch. It's actually deep fried before it's put on the griddle! I couldn't believe my eyes, why didn't I think of that?

Anyways if you're in the area you really need to check out this local spot that makes you wish you could visit daily. It'll put a smile on your face and make your stomach really happy. Oh yeah and if this place wasn't cool enough . . . it's cash only!
