Petit Fours and Macaroons
I have been waiting to post this one for a while. If I'm in the Queen City, then I HAVE to go to Amelie. My first introduction to them was when we were filming the I & Love & You video at the Neighborhood Theater and a bag full of goodies was brought over to the venue for us. The goodies held us over and made a lasting impression on me. Here are just some of my favorite bites at Amelie.

The atmosphere is very, trendy-messy and very relaxed. Lots of space is available in the back for sitting with friends or having a morning pastry. It's a beautiful gem outside the busy financial city of Charlotte.

Ganache Cup topped with Chocolate Covered Strawberry
A beautiful desert cup with a beautiful chocolate ganache base and chocolate mouse and chocolate covered strawberry. It's divine and your sweet tooth will be happily satisfied afterwards.

Mini Mousse Cups
Each of these little bites is a pleasure for your senses. Amelie is always so fresh and the quality is top notch.

Not pictured here but one thing that I always walk away with is the par-baked baguettes. Amelie will give you a frozen par-baked loaf to take home with you and finish off there to have a fresh French style baguette at home. It's delicious and very reasonably priced.

Croque Monsieur with Soupe Du Jour
Cheesy, yummy, rich, and full of goodness. I don't know how you could go wrong with this unless you're watching you figure. It's a comfort food that will keep you warm in the winter, and full for hours.

Santé!
