Recommendations > In the Queen City

I hope that the next time you're in Charlotte you'll let me have you over for supper, but if you're too busy, you MUST check out:

Breakfast/lunch: Luna's Living Kitchen. There is no oven--everything is raw, organic and vegan. I'm NOT a vegetarian, but I was blown away by this experience. Jeremy had the Lunasagna--the "noodles" were made from thinly sliced zucchini and the "cheese" was made from green cashews. They also offer an amazing quinoa burger and lovely organic breads. http://www.lunaslivingkitchen.com/Home.html

If you're feeling meaty, however, I think the best place in CLT to get a burger is the Crepe Cellar. Gruyere, onion straws and aioli are just the perfect combination. The fries are also excellent. http://www.crepecellar.com/CrepeCellar/Welcome.html

If you're feeling tight in the wallet but still want the perfect burger, check out Pinky's West Side Grill. This is the byproduct of former Penguin employees and the service and food are far better than you could ever expect. The White Trash Burger has provolone, fried pickles, onion rings and spicy ranch. Seriously--are you drooling? And the pimp'n fries are covered in pimiento cheese and bacon (upon request). Have you ever been more willing to invite a heart attack? On top of that, you can also get a glass of Sonoma Cutrer. Hello, Heaven... http://eatatpinkys.com/

LUH!

Bricey we'll just have to hit these places up some time when I'm in CLT.

I've not done enough food exploration in the Queen City so you can be my food guide.
