You MUST check out Poole's Diner in downtown Raleigh, NC next time you are in the area. The mac-n-cheese is gooey on the inside, crispy on the outside and DIVINE. The old-school updated diner counter is a great landing spot for r&r... Plus, Miss Ashley is a glowing hostess-with-the-mostest AND she still maintains some pretty avid indiemusic chops (her first love, 2nd only to a fine dine and a little swine). Leave yourself a little time to soak it all in, it can be superbusy but the food is worth the wait.
