It's right across the street from the Fox in Oakland, ate there waiting for the show. Just Wow! If I knew how to post a picture, I would.
I looked at their menu on line, and was so excited that they had burrata, but when I got their, they didn't - it changes all the time - which it should. I was bummed, but not for long. The polenta was amazing, unlike any I've had before - with heirloom tomatoes. You cannot get tomatoes like this 'cept in Northern California. We split the 'half chicken cooked under a brick'. Again, just wow. In the words of my niece 'food should always taste this good'.
That, and the Avett Brothers with David Mayfield opening. I keep saying Amazing - it is the only word I can think of.
