Coco Noodle Express - Vancouver, BC, Canada

Kung Pao Chicken
This is one of those posts where I am kind of reluctant to put up. My friends Lucas and Ingrid joined me for this meal, so we ordered a plethora of dishes. (yes I know what a plethora is!) Sadly this was the only dish I thought was any good.

So anyways, the restaurant was very clean and poorly lit, which happen to be the makings of a good restaurant. Unfortunately the food quality just fell short a bit. I did like the above dish though. Their version of kung pao chicken had some nice crisp veggies and really tender chicken.

I guess what I'm saying is, if you want some good kung pao chicken check the place out. If you're not a fan then you may find another dish you like. I just can't recommend one to you.

--Cheers,
Joe Kwon
PS: I don't believe kung pao chicken is a real chinese dish.

If you are ever back in and around Vancouver, you need to put Vij's on your agenda. My BF family recommended it to us as an excellent Indian restaurant. We didn't get a chance to eat there, but ate at the less family style restaurant next door, Rangoli (same owner). Oh my gosh, samosas to die for. I can't imagine how wonderful Vij's would've been had we gone there. It is super busy. Reservations are necessary. That was how we ended up next door, but you should definitely check it one of these amazing restaurants. It is Indian food with a gourmet flare that will have your taste buds dancing with joy. http://www.vijs.ca/our-story/
