New Tools

So recently I purchased this new camera to take on tour with me for over seas trips. It's more compact than my 5d Mkii and also takes some really nice photos.

If you are looking for a nice point and shoot to add to your arsenal do not look past this one.

This is not a sponsored message from Panasonic or anyone (man why won't canon or panasonic sponsor me!!!). I just did hours of research for you by telling you this P&S is awesome.

Do you shoot RAW? I have a Canon G9 that I bought for its RAW capabilities, and it's so noisy. (Really depressing when shooting low light at Avett shows.) How well does this camera do at higher ISOs?

Like all P&S cameras the high ISO setting is quite noisy. I actually like that noise for B&W photography because it gives it the "grainy" look of old film.

Send me a message from my suggestions link and I'll email you a high ISO photo at full res.

I got the same camera a few months ago and love it! I did a lot of research before buying too, and am really enjoying the nice picture quality and video of this model. For a P&S, I think it does pretty well for low light shots, which was something I researched a lot before buying. Hope you'll be sharing some of your shots from this camera, and looking forward to using mine when I see you guys next :)

LOVE the LX5....great choice! I've had it for almost 6 months now... takes great shots for a point and shoot, and so easy.
