A festive meal
Friday, January 6, 2012 at 2:39PM
This is a composite of our family's Thanksgiving meal of 2011. I know it's a little late, but I often get the questions "What is a traditional Korean Thanksgiving meal like?" so I hope this satiates that query. You can see it's a mix of western and eastern foods. All of it delicious, not only because of the food, but mostly because of the company that comes along with it.

That is a Korean bread called 호떡 (hotteok) it's a bread filled with sweet goodness. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hotteok
Do the pictures have captions? It would be fun to google recipes for this yummy food, especially the first picture.
Agreed on the names. Some good looking stuff right there.
Who knew that the traditional Korean thanksgiving centered around fine Russian River Pinots and Napa Cabs.

Wow - I think I want a meal like this for Thanksgiving next year. Everything looks so good - and great wine choices.
Hope you enjoyed your holiday break!
